Binance Pool is a division of the global cryptocurrency exchange Binance, launched in 2020. The pool provides cryptocurrency mining services and is fully integrated into the main Binance ecosystem, allowing users to manage mining and finances within a single platform.
Binance Pool primarily focuses on mining cryptocurrencies with the SHA-256 algorithm, such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Mining of other popular coins, including Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum Classic (ETC), is also supported.
Key features of Binance Pool:
- Smart Pool: This feature automatically switches the miner’s hashrate between the most profitable coins on the same algorithm (e.g., BTC and BCH) to maximize user income.
- Full integration with the Binance ecosystem: All mining revenues are automatically credited daily to the user’s exchange wallet. This allows immediate use of funds for trading, staking (via Pool Savings), obtaining loans, or other financial operations on the platform.
- Cloud mining: The service provides the ability to rent computing power, which allows users to earn income from mining without purchasing and setting up their own equipment.
Binance Pool uses the FPPS (Full Pay-Per-Share) reward model.[3] This system provides stable and predictable income, as miners receive payments not only for their share in a found block but also for transaction fees within it.
Standard pool fees are:
- 2.5% for SHA-256 algorithm mining (BTC, BCH).[3][7]
- Fees for other coins may vary. For example, previously for ETHW it was 1%, and for ETC, promotions with zero fees are periodically held.[8]
All payments are made daily, without additional fees for transfer to the internal Binance exchange wallet.[9]
Deep integration with the exchange: Instant, fee-free payouts to a Binance account and direct access to all financial instruments.
Automatic optimization: The Smart Pool feature helps maximize profits without manual intervention.
Reliability and security: The platform operates on the infrastructure of one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges.
Limited coin selection: The primary focus is on the SHA-256 algorithm. The choice of coins for GPU miners is inferior to specialized pools.
KYC verification required: A fully verified Binance exchange account is required to use the pool, which is not suitable for proponents of anonymous mining.
High centralization: All activities are fully tied to one platform.
